When I returned home for St Patricks Day, It was a very emotional time for me to see water back in the canal at Archies Bridge, having been born, literally, at the foot of this bridge many moons ago. What tales culd be told of my childhood days about the folk who lived along the canal line, the old stores and the fishing etc. Great to see what RCAG members have achieved through hard work and dedication. Also great to see Tom McLoughlins cottage at Mulawornia Lock still in good repair. Cant wait to see The Longford Bridge back in existance too.
